Question: Is sexual intercourse forbidden during religious holidays?
Sexual intercourse is not forbidden during religious holidays like eid al-fitr (feast of fast-breaking), eid al-adha (feast of sacrifice) or friday nights. It is also not forbidden at nights of Ramadan. It is only forbidden during i’tikaf, hajj (pilgrimage) and umrah, and when the woman is in her monthly or postpartum period (puerpera).
