The Glorified Allah commands: “Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah’s; and whether you manifest what is in your minds or hide it, Allah will call you to account according to it; then He will forgive whom He pleases and chastise whom He pleases, and Allah has power over all things.” (Al-Baqara/ The Cow 2/284)
The Prophet (s.a.v.) related: “Look, there is a piece of meant in your bodies. If it is good all your body is so, if it is spoiled all your body is spoiled as well.

What occurs inside you and what passes through your mind are not the same. The things that occur inside a human are feelings like faith, kufur (disbelief), love, hatred, and goodwill. The things that pass through your mind are feelings like the Satan’s apprehension, demand, expectations and so on. Sometimes you think if you became an infidel. This is a good sign which tells that you are in the right path, because Satan when asking for time to the Judgment Day had said: “He said: As Thou hast caused me to remain disappointed I will certainly lie in wait for them in Thy straight path.
[7.17] Then I will certainly come to them from before them and from behind them, and from their right-hand side and from their left-hand side; and Thou shalt not find most of them thankful.” (A’raf / Purgatory 7/16-17)
Satan was permitted the time he wanted this is why the apprehension can’t be prevented. Even prophets were not excluded from this. The Glorified Allah commands: “And We did not send before you any apostle or prophet, but when he desired, the Shaitan made a suggestion respecting his desire; but Allah annuls that which the Shaitan casts, then does Allah establish His communications, and Allah is Knowing, Wise” (Al-Hajj/Pilgrimage 22/52)
As people can’t prevent the Satan’s apprehension they are not responsible for it. The Glorified Allah commands: “
Allah does not impose upon any soul a duty but to the extent of its ability; for it is (the benefit of) what it has earned and upon it (the evil of) what it has wrought: Our Lord! do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake; Our Lord! do not lay on us a burden as Thou didst lay on those before us, Our Lord do not impose upon us that which we have not the strength to bear; and pardon us and grant us protection and have mercy on us, Thou art our Patron, so help us against the unbelieving people.” (Al-Baqara/ The Cow 2/286)
