Can we demand the loss caused by delayed payments from the debtors?

Most of my customers do not pay their debts in time. What can I do in this situation? How should I determine the penalty for delay?

If the debtors do not pay in time and the value of debt amount changed due to inflation, you can demand the difference caused by inflation from the debtor. The main principle in loans is that both the lender and the borrower should not meet a loss.
