Holding Quran at the top of head during marriage
In India, Muslims generally keep Quran at the top of head of their daughters at the time of sending her with her husband at the time of marriage. Is it justified?
Can you explain with the reference of Quran or hadith.
This is a case not related to the religion but traditions. It is neither good deed nor sin according to Qur’an.

Please do not tell to follow the parents in this regard as her father is acting like Hindu, deviding ummah on the basis of cast which is forbidden in Islam, isn't it?
