Divinizing the Prophet
IslamandQuran > Common Belief Mistakes > Research Date: Sep 7, 2009 Tavsiye Et Print
The Christians divinized Isa (a.s.). According to them if it hadn’t been for Jesus the universe wouldn’t have been created. Whatever visible and invisible on the earth and in the skies; thrones, sovereignties, leaderships, emperors …Everything was created with his intervention and for his sake[1].
The untrue belief is like an epidemic; it widens rapidly. The previous convictions have infected the Muslims as well. In a fabricated hadith it is stated the Allah told our Prophet: “if it hadn’t been for you I wouldn’t have created the universe[2]”. According to some tariqats (sects) Mohammed (a.s.) is the starting point, the origin of creation. When nothing but Allah existed the first to be created was the ‘hakikat-i Muhammediye’, (Mohammedian truth) later every creature was created out of him and for his sake. As the ‘hakikat-i Muhammediye’ was light, it was the principle of creation and its essence. As this light is immortal and eternal the word ‘died’ cannot be used for the prophet… ‘Hakikat-i Muhammediye’ is the source of knowledge- both evidentand mysterious- of all the prophets and of all the holy men. This truth is what carries the enlightenment that comes from Supreme Truth to people[3]. It is obvious that this belief is absolute shirk.
For the Catholics: “Jesus, the Messiah is true God and true human. This is why he is the mediator between the humans and God, the Father. [4]” This belief has infected some sects. According to them, Allah and the ‘hakikat-i Muhammediye’ are the two sides of the very same truth[5]. They have such a poem to tell for this particular topic:

Ahad is Ahmed, what difference makes a ‘mim’
The whole world is collected in that ‘mim’

In order to explain these stanzas this clarification is added: “Thus, Ahad is Allah.[6]” Ahmed is one of the names of the Prophet mentioned in the Qur’an. The natural outcome of the sayings “Ahad is Ahmed” and “Ahad is Allah” is “Allah is Ahmed so that He is Mohammed.” It carries the same meaning of the Christian claim that “God is the Messiah, the son of Virgin Mary.” According to this poem the difference between Ahad (__) and Ahmed (___) is of one ‘mim’; the letter ‘m’. This difference is in the script of the words, in the word ‘Ahmed’ advantage. Because according to them the whole universe is part of that ‘mim’. It is clear that this belief has nothing to do with Islam. The Glorified Allah commands: “And Muhammad is no more than a messenger; so many have already passed away before him.” (Al-e-Imran/ The House of Imran 3/144)
“Say: I am only a mortal like you; it is revealed to me that your God is one God, therefore follow the right way to Him and ask His forgiveness; and woe to the polytheists.” (Fussilat/Detailed 41/6)
“Say: I do not control for you evil or good. Say: Surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge:(It is) only a delivering (of communications) from Allah and His messages.” (Al Jinn 72/ 21-23)

The Muslims have no other choice but to open a new page and to review all the fields of Islam studies’; commentary, hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, theological principles under the light of Qur’an. If not both the worlds will slip from our hands; the present one and the afterworld.

Acluni wrote this book in order to collect every single idiom and expression true or false known or thought to be a hadith. This is the reason that the book shelters a considerable number of fake hadiths. This is one of them.

This person has been graduated from The Theological Faculty and is one of the spiritual leaders of the Naksibendi sect. The day I saw this article I met him in Gedikpasa, Istanbul at the house of one of his followers and appealed to him in the proper method. Nevertheless he defended himself vigorously claiming that all burst out of love for the prophet. Hopefully he repents before his death. As his sin is in a written form, the repentance should be similarly written.
