Is it possible to fully comprehend Allah?

Question: I am a teacher for the lesson of ‘religion’. My students ask me what Allah is created from. I answer but i would like to get more explanatory information from you. Do you have any books related to this topic ? Or could you recommend any books for me to read ?

Creatures cannot fully comprehend the creator. This is just like the following example: No matter how much computers develop, they cannot have an opinion about their manufacturer. If an overflowing program is installed, then it freezes, cannot run. Similarly, we can only have the information as much as it is given to us.

For this reason Allah commands:

“Allah is He besides Whom there is no god, The Alive, The Self-subsisting; slumber does not overtake Him nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His; who is he that can take along (shafaa’ah) someone but by His permission? He knows that which is before and after them. And they cannot comprehend anything of His knowledge save whatever He Himself lets them know. He dominates the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of them both is not difficult for Him. He is The Sublime, The Great.” (Al-Baqarah/ The Cow2:255) ”

“Eyes encompass Him not, but He encompasses the eyes; and He is The Subtle, The All-Aware.” (Al-An’am/ The Cattle 6:103)

“He is the First and the Last, and The Manifest and The Hidden, and He is, of all things, Knowing.” (Al-Hadid/ The Iron 57:3 )
