Question: Does Prophet Muhammad have the right of intercession?
No prophet has the right of intercession before God. The only one who can save people is Allah the Almighty. There is no god but He.
“Have they taken others instead of Allah as intercessors? Say: What if they have no power and they do not even use their minds? Say: All intercession belongs to Allah. He is the owner of the skies and the earth. And to Him will all of you be sent back.” (39:43-44)
“Prepare yourselves for a day where no one shall avail anyone in any way, nor shall an intercession be accepted from anyone, nor shall anyone be acquitted for any ransom, nor shall the guilty ones be helped.” (2:48)
“Prepare for a day where no one shall avail anyone in any way, nor shall any ransom be accepted from anyone, nor shall anyone benefit from any intercession, nor shall the guilty ones be helped.” (2:123)
“Believers! Spend of the wealth We have bestowed upon you before comes a day where there shall be no dealings, no friendship and no intercession. The ignoring ones are the real wrongdoers.” (2:254)
These are the verses that address Muhammad.
“Say: I have no power to benefit or harm myself, unless Allah decides. And had I knowledge of the unseen, I should have amassed all kinds of good, and no evil would have ever touched me. I am merely a warner and the herald of glad tidings to those who have faith.” (7:188)
“Say: I have no power to harm or benefit myself, unless Allah decides.(…)” (10.49)
“Say: Surely I have no power to give you harm or to give you ripeness. Say: None can protect me from Allah, nor can I find a refuge between me and Him.” (72:21-22)
